LittleBigPlanet: Marvel Super Hero Edition – Sony Playstation Vita (2014)

LittleBigPlanet PS Vita is a puzzle-platformer released in 2012 for the PlayStation Vita handheld console.

In LittleBigPlanet PS Vita, players control a character named Sackboy through various worlds, using abilities like jumping and grabbing objects to navigate levels. It also includes non-platforming mini-games and offers multiplayer options, such as four-player online competitive or co-op gameplay. The Vita’s touch screen and rear touch panel are utilized for interactive gameplay elements.

The LittleBigPlanet PS Vita: Marvel Super Hero Edition is a special version of the game that includes the original LittleBigPlanet PS Vita game along with additional Marvel-themed content. This edition was released in November 2014, and features three mini-games inspired by Marvel Super Heroes and
a collection of new costumes for Sackboy and Sackgirl, allowing players to dress their characters as various Marvel characters.

A key feature of LittleBigPlanet is content creation. Players can create their own levels and share them online. The Vita’s touch-screen display allows for direct drawing of objects and platforms in the game world. While it includes all the tools from LittleBigPlanet 2, materials and stickers from previous games are not available. However, costumes bought from the PlayStation Network for character customization are transferable between the PlayStation 3 and Vita games. It’s important to note that the online servers for the game were permanently shut down in March 2021.
