Lego Donkey Kong Arcade Set
The LEGO Super Mario Donkey Kong Arcade set (#72051) is a 1,367-piece collectible model designed as a functional tribute to Nintendo’s iconic 1981 arcade game. Built primarily for adult display and gaming nostalgia, the set replicates the classic cabinet layout featuring colourful girders, ladders, and pixelated graphics that recreate the original screen’s retro aesthetic. Rather than standard minifigures, the set includes brick-built renderings of the classic character lineup: the barrel-launching Donkey Kong, Lady (Pauline), and the original version of Mario, known then as Jumpman. In addition to its retro display appeal, the model incorporates interactive mechanisms that mimic the core gameplay mechanics of the original arcade cabinet. A mechanical loop inside allows builders to turn a lever to release a stream of 21 rolling barrels down the girders. Players can manoeuvre a small joystick control to guide the Jumpman figure along a 2D axis and hit a jump button, timing his movements to dodge the oncoming barrels as they roll down the slopes.
Sonic The Hedgehog Moving Pin Badge
Poor Sonic. Not only does landing on the spikes look painful, but he also loses all of the rings he’s collected as well! To commemorate this traumatic event, we have depicted it in pin badge form! This limited edition badge is one of 9,995 worldwide, is individually numbered to the reverse, and Sonic slides up and down as well!
Retro Mugs
These are 2 mugs I got as a present, however I already have both already, but I can always use a good cup.
The first one by Kapow, is a mug that shows a picture and a little info for various retro console ranging from the first Pong game, up to the SNES.
The second mug from Paladone is one that is made to look like a Game Boy and when filled with hot water, the screen shows an image from the Super Mario Bros game.

Global Gladiators – Sega Game Gear (1993)
Developed by Virgin Interactive as a McDonald’s promotional tie-in, Mick & Mack as the Global Gladiators on the Sega Game Gear follows two teenagers who are magically transported into a comic book world by Ronald McDonald to fight pollution across eco-themed environments like Slime World and Toxi-Town. Gameplay is a side-scrolling run-and-gun platformer where players navigate sprawling levels, defeat monster manifestations of trash using goo-filled squirt guns, and collect floating McDonald’s Golden Arches to reach each exit and unlock recycling-themed bonus stages. Although scaled down from its 16-bit Genesis counterpart—resulting in a tighter field of view and simplified level design—the Game Gear version was received favourably by critics (earning a 7/10 from Electronic Gaming Monthly) for its impressive character animations, responsive controls, and solid portable platforming action despite its high difficulty and screen-clutter issues.

The Lucky Dime Caper Starring Donald Duck – Sega Game Gear (1991)
Released by Sega in 1991, The Lucky Dime Caper Starring Donald Duck is an 8-bit side-scrolling platformer where players control Donald Duck on a globetrotting rescue mission after the evil witch Magica De Spell steals Uncle Scrooge’s lucky dime and kidnaps Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Navigating through diverse environments—including the Northern Woods, the Amazon jungle, and the pyramids of Egypt—the gameplay centers on classic jump-and-run action supported by melee weapons like a hammer and frisbee, alongside a star-based power-up system that grants Donald extra hits and attack range. Highly praised upon release for its vibrant graphics, fluid animations, and tight controls, the Game Gear version was widely considered a stellar handheld conversion that rivalled its Master System counterpart, standing out as one of the finest Disney platformers in Sega’s 8-bit library.
