Sonic Mania Collectors Edition
The Sonic Mania Collector’s Edition is a retro-themed bundle that was released in 2020 to celebrate the launch of Sonic Mania, a 2D platformer that features visuals and gameplay reminiscent of the classic Sega Mega Drive games. The collector’s edition was available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, as well as Nintendo Switch in Europe and Japan. The collector’s edition was priced at £79.99 in the UK. The collector’s edition sold out quickly and became a sought-after item for Sonic fans and collectors.
The Sonic Mania Collector’s Edition comes with the following items:
- A 12-inch Sonic statue that stands on a Sega Mega Drive replica. The replica has a power switch that plays the “SEGA” sound when turned on.
- A metallic collector’s card that contains a download code for the game.
- A Sega cartridge cast that has a golden ring inside.
- A collector’s box that resembles the original Sonic the Hedgehog game box.
This is missing the download code for the game (I’m unsure what console this belongs to) however I have the physical copy on the Nintendo Switch, so I will just put that game with this.
