The Battery Pack (MGB-002) is a rechargeable battery pack that is compatible with the Game Boy Pocket, Light and Color models, providing an extra 8-10 hours of battery life depending on the model. This accessory was sold only in Japan, with or without the charger.
The Charger (MGB-003) is used to charge the Battery Pack , requiring roughly 10-12 hours to fully charge the Battery Pack from zero charge. This charger was sold only in Japan, only alongside the Battery Pack.
