The Hyperkin Supaboy S is a portable system made by Hyperkin that takes the once TV-only SNES console and crams it down into a handheld form that allows for the play of Super Nintendo Entertainment System games.
The handheld plays the original cartridges on a built-in 4.3 inch LCD screen with adjustable brightness. While the console’s screen is displayed in a 16:9aspect ratio, you can switch between that and a 4:3 aspect ratio by holding the brightness button for 3 seconds.
The Supaboy includes a D-pad and face buttons, as well as right and left shoulder buttons as well as a 3.5 mm headphone jack. It also houses a rechargeable Li-Ion battery with 10 hours of battery life.
Not only can it be played as-is, but the SupaBoy S also includes two front-loading SNES controller ports to allow for 2 player gaming.
The handheld also has the ability to be connected to a TV or screen for traditional console play (similar to the Nintendo Switch).
