Game Boy Portable Carry-All By Ascii
The Game Boy Portable Carry-All By Ascii, also known as the ASCIIWare Portable Carry-All or Nexoft Gameboy Carry All, was a carrying case designed for the original Nintendo Game Boy (DMG-01). It was released around the same time as the Game Boy itself, in 1989.
There were two versions of the case: the standard Portable Carry-All and the larger Portable Carry-All DLX.
The standard Portable Carry-All was a relatively small and compact case that could hold the Game Boy console itself, along with a few games and accessories.
Both versions of the Portable Carry-All were made of plastic and had a clip closure to keep the case shut. They were not particularly well-padded, so they would not have provided a lot of protection for the Game Boy if it was dropped. However, they were a good way to keep the Game Boy and its accessories organized and together.
When I first received this, it was very yellow, with only the a small patch, where I assume a sticker once was, showing the original colour of the case. So I used my usual technique to retrobright it to restore its original colour.
The retrobrighting went OK, a little patchy, but at least it is not yellow now.
I have the big brother of this also. They look good together.
